Dear Brewkery/Lucky Elixir Taproom customers,
It is with a heavy heart that we must bid farewell to our beloved taproom. After six years at this location, our lease is up. Due to a combination of reasons, we have decided to take our kombucha business in a different direction that includes closing our retail taproom.
The taproom’s LAST DAY of operation at 1443 Swift is Saturday, May 20. We want to see you all again before then!
Here's the good news – we will still be brewing, fermenting and crafting great tasting Lucky Elixir Kombucha! We are excited to share that Lucky Elixir is moving to a new space nearby with significant added space to increase our production. However, this new location will not have a public taproom. Our focus is on continuing to craft high-quality, great-tasting kombucha for the wholesale market as we cultivate the Lucky Elixir brand.
We are proud to continue to call North Kansas City home and hope that you’ll join us on this new journey as we grow! For those of you with growlers, we know one question is on your mind – where will you be able to get your kombucha fill? We’re excited to announce three initial on tap locations:
Six self-serve taps of rotating flavors of Lucky Elixir Kombucha
8am-9pm Monday – Saturday, 8am-6pm – Sunday
Available now
Seven taps of rotating flavors of Lucky Elixir Kombucha
6:45am-4pm Monday – Saturday
Starting with the first market on June 1st
Every Thursday evening from 4:30-8pm in June – August

Our kombucha is also conveniently available in cans. Get your Lucky Elixir one of three ways:
Don’t worry – we will continue to offer our core collection of your favorite flavors in cans year-round. Watch for new additions coming soon! And new each season, you’ll be able to pick up a limited-release 12-pack with a variety of exclusive flavors. Keep an eye out for our Summer Solstice collection, coming in June!
If you have a frequent filler card, you can redeem any unused punches before the taproom closes on May 20. Feel free to reach out to us to check if you have any remaining punches.

We are immensely grateful for the time spent here, the memories made, and the relationships formed. This tasting room was our humble beginning, and it has been a place of community, comfort, and joy for so many. We take great pride in having been a part of this.
It has been an honor and privilege to serve you. We hope that you will continue to support our “little Kombucha brewery” by buying cans at your local store, filling your growler at an on-tap partner or buying online. Thank you once again for being an important part of our taproom story.
