It is pretty crazy to imagine that our little kombucha taproom is five years old. What started as an idea in the deep recesses of my brain has really been an incredible ride. Our vision and goal for the taproom was to bring healthy fermented beverages to the public in an environment that was sort of a blend of a brewery and coffee shop. We did a kickstarter to fund it but it was unsuccessful and as a result we pretty much did all of the buildout ourselves. On a sidenote the kickstarter video is pretty hilarious now if you want to check it out click here.

We navigated foamy kegs, broken glasses, Snake Saturday Parades, a pandemic, Groupons and Pub Passers all while meeting new friends who have become like family to us. We have had lots of help along the way and would not be celebrating #5 without Marilee, Al, Jon, Rebecca, Lauren, Paula, Peyton, Sam, JT, Heather, Amy G, Emma, Katie, Ellie, Dustin, Travis, Marla and Candice. Just to name a few.

So much has changed in five years in our taproom but one thing has not - our desire to give everyone who walks through the front door the best product and experience we can. Whether it be a flight, a panini, a bowl of Amy's amazing curry soup or a growler fill, we always strive to deliver quality and consistency. You have rewarded Amy and I with smiles and laughs and your support.

I tell people all of the time that I make kombucha for a living - how bad can my life ever be? I would not be able to do that without you, our loyal patrons, so thank you and cheers to five years!

Stay Lucky KC
-Sean
